Norvic Concordia - Member Profiles

Both Peter and Margaret learnt the instrument at an early age and both reached the solo finals of the All-Britain Accordion Championship Contests of the National Accordion Organisation of Great Britain. They also give solo performances for functions in their own right and have written music for the instrument.

Kevin's previous experience with the instrument started when he became a dancing member of Mersey Morris Men in 1971. He became the accordionist in The West Kirby Folk Dance Band from 1978 to 1986 and the band has made a number of recordings. He has since returned to make guest appearances with the band.

Mary came to the accordion in later years after originally learning the piano. She and Jayne are both members of Norwich Accordion Club Band (, a separate organisation.

Our new member Jayne has played with both Thurrock and Fairtykes Clubs in Essex.
